This year we will be using the same format as in 2013, so there will be 4 Red Robin mixologists competing and representing their restaurants. This format promises a good and tasty competition. Looking forward to the concoctions for this year
This year — 2014 was one of the best. We had Steve Carlton judging along with Paul Goodman, General Manager of Vinart dealerships, Mike Axiotis, Director of Operation, Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, (Red Robin), and a representative from Hawk Radio. A winner was chosen Jess McLain, with her concoction Coco Twist.
The Mixologists and their locations were:
- Jessica Edsall, from Tilghman Square , with her drink, Confusion
- Jess McLain, from Airport Road with her Coco Twist
- Amanda Samanka, from Saucon Valley with her drink, The Warrior Princess
- Anthony Tocetta, from Northampton Crossings, and his drink Staten Island Iced Tea
All the Mocktails were well received, the tasting is free for everyone, so a crowd usually descends on the tent when it is time to taste. Keith Groller emcee’s the event, and his one comment was — “everything is gone when we are done and I don’t get to taste, they all look so good!”. Next year we will have a glass for you
