The Girls Championships were played, last year’s winner Racquet Friends — who changed their names to ‘Returning Champ-Hens’ did exactly that and won. They played against the ‘The HOT Mama’s’ it was a great game played with a lot of intensity, and high energy.In the Men’s Championships we also had a repeat, with the Class of 2004 taking the trophy again.
This is first time in 6 years that the teams repeated.Class of ’04 played against our newest team the Old Guys, who seemed to be very surprised to be in the finals. They brought a lot of fun and spunk to the tournament. Sasha made a statement –“…they aren’t bad for Old Guys!”
They seemed to have a lot of fun. The semi round was played with Fernlot (once again in the running) against the Class of ’04 and The Old Guys against Greenhills. Elliot once again donned a green tshirt and participated. Old Guys prevailed and went to the finals.
What a day!
